  • We booked 10 tickets from London to Mumbai via Paris on your supposed Air France flight. It was actually a City Jet flight from London City Airport to Paris, Orly. Anyway, the worst experience ever. The staff who was not even doing our checkin at the counter intefered and made us empty our bags which were overwieght by a few grams (the same lady tried talking about her personal trip to India the following month but we were not very responsive since checking in was more of a priority at that time).  When we reached the boarding gate one of us (out of the 10) was told our carry on bag was too big to take in hand even though other passengers had the same size or even bigger carry on bags. Eventually we did take the bag as we pointed out to your rude and RACIST staff that others had a bigger bag and they were allowed to go without a word. We called your call center a day in advance of our travel from London to ask about an extra check in bag. They said it was a code share and not to pay the discounted rate online but to pay after reacing the airport. We also mentioned that we had to switch airports in Paris to take the flight to Mumbai and if we paid at London City Airport would the payment of the excess baggage hold there as well. Your call center staff specifically told us it would; hence we should pay at the London City Airport. At London city we paid but were told if we booked online it would have been cheaper and we should be able to show the same receipt at Paris CDG for our connecting flight to Mumbai. Lies. We were FORCED to pay again at CDG and the produced receipt had no weight apparently, since the airlines were different. The ground staff asked for the name of the person we had spoken to, which we did not remember after which we were forced to pay. As customers, why should we be trapped in the 'different code shares' issue when we booked Air France all the way? At CDG, we did not have a choice but to pay since we could not leave the bag in Paris (paid about Rs.10,000/- in all for 1 bag). Just to clarify, if your airline doesn't actually fly itself to any sector and uses only code share why not inform the passengers in advance? Also, you issued a sector without complete information on excess baggage, how many times and how much would each bag cost all the wat to Mumbai, etc, etc.  Really disgrunted and unhappy with the service provided by Air France and the code share partners. Will never recommend you to anyone and will go to lengths to discourage anyone from flying this airline.
